A small city park consists of a rectangular lawn that is 30 1/2 long and 20 meters wide. What is the area of the lawn?

2.)
Find the perimeter and area of a rectangle with width 6 1/2 cm and length 10 cm.

legnth=30 and 1/2
width=20
area=30 and 1/2 times 20
area=(30+1/2) times 20
distribute
area=20 times 30+20 times 1/2
area=600+10
area=610
area= 610 m^2




perimiter=legnth +width+legnth+width
perimiter=2legnth+2width
width=6 and 1/2
legnth=10
perimiter=2(10)+2(6 and 1/2)
perimiter=20+13
perimiter=33cm
