a cheetah accelerates from 15 m/s to 30 m/s in 3.0s what is the cheetahs acceleration

Respuesta :

acceleration=increasement of velocity/time
acc=30-15/3
acceleration=15/3
acceleration=5m

acceleration is defined as rate of change in velocity

so here we can write it as

[tex]a = \frac{dv}{dt}[/tex]

[tex]v_i = 15m/s[/tex]

[tex]v_f = 30 m/s[/tex]

[tex]\Delta t = 3 s[/tex]

now using the above equation

[tex]a = \frac{30 - 15}{3}[/tex]

[tex]a = 5 m/s^2[/tex]

so acceleration of cheetah will be 5 m/s^2
