Im pretty sure that they led the house hold, what year does this talk about? Or is it just in general?
This is a really broad statement and question. After and during the second world war, women were fighting for their rights. This included and was not limited to the right of voting. When there were available jobs during the second world war, the women took then, and as a result, they showed that they were cable of a "Mans" job. This enticed previously outgoing leaders to step up and take the stand. This eventually lead to the right of voting, governments positions, and industrial leaders. I think the answer should be D. This is one of the first of many things they were able to secure with their peaceful protests and sit-ins. P.S Yes, I did write this by myself.
Hope this Helps! :)
