Surface area of the cylinder = 2 pi r * 40  = 2 pi * 3* 40 =  24 pi
 of the cone this is pi * 3 * 5 = 15pi
of the hemisphere this is  1/2 * 4 * pi * 3^2  =   18pi

So the answer is 24pi + 15pi + 18pi = 57pi = 178.98 cm^2
