This a similar triangle problem.
If you consider the two horizontal
sides (shadows) as a ratio 32/4
Consider the corresponding vertical sides
x and 8
32/4= x/8 Cross multiply 
4x= 256
x = 64
Therefore the tree is 64 feet high.
