In which of the labeled parts of the adult long bone would hematopoietic tissue be located?

Respuesta :

The answer is E (see attached diagram). The hematopoietic tissue is composed of stem cells that can mature and differentiate into most blood cells. They originate from the bone marrow/myeloid tissue (red marrow) of the bones. The yellow marrow, on the other hand, has stem cells that can differentiate into some white blood cells of the immune system.
