The points (-1,-4) and (2,6) are the endpoints of the diameter of a circle. find the length of the radius of the circle.

Respuesta :

Use the distance formula just like you would to find the length of any segment in a coordinate plane.  [tex]d= \sqrt{( x_{2}- x_{1}) ^{2} +( y_{2} - y_{1}) ^{2} } [/tex].  Our formula filled in with our variables looks like this: [tex]d= \sqrt{(2-(-1)) ^{2}+(6-(-4)) ^{2} } [/tex] which gives you [tex] \sqrt{109} =10.44[/tex]
