Answer: The value of c is 125

-------------------------------

Work Shown:

(5^5)/(5^2) = 5^(5-2) using the rule (a^b)/(a^c) = a^(b-c)
(5^5)/(5^2) = 5^3
(5^5)/(5^2) = 5*5*5
(5^5)/(5^2) = 125

The alternative way to do this is
5^5 = 3125
5^2 = 25
So (5^5)/(5^2) = 3125/25 = 125
