The equation which this is written in is as follows:

[tex]y- y_{1}=m(x- x_{1}) [/tex]

where m = slope, [tex] x_{1} [/tex] and [tex] y_{1} [/tex] are the point.

So we can then extrapolate both the slope and the point from this equation.

Using the equation I have written above, m (the slope) is equal to 2, and the point is going to be (3, -4).
