During the rising action of a story, the conflict begins to get more and mote prominent and intense.

For example, a cat needing to go to the vet.

1. Cats problems first arise(Conflict)
2. Cat refuses to go to the vet. (Rising Action)
3. Cats problem gets worse (Rising action, the conflict also gets worse and more prominent)
