"23" and "56" are deceptive; I immediately read them as "twenty-three" and "fifty six."  Next time, please use the division symbo " / ";  2/3, 5/6.


2/3 can be rewritten as 4/6, so as to have the same denom. as 5/6.

Dividing the choco cake into 2 equal pieces results in the measure 1/3 of a whole cake for each new piece.  This is equal to 15/18.

div. the strawberry cake into 3 equal pieces results in (5/6) (1/3) of the whole cake, or 5/18 of the whole cake.  The pieces of choco cake were definitely larger than those from the strawberry cake.  

The pieces of choco cake were (15/18-5/18), or 5/9 of a whole cake, larger than the pieces of straw cake.
