Daniel wants to simplify this expression. Which like terms can he combine?
12ab - 8a + 3ab

A) -8a and 3ab

B) 12ab and 3ab

C) 12ab and -8a

D) 12ab, -8a, and 3ab

Respuesta :

C) 12ab and -8a hopefully sorry if its wrong
Like terms would be the term that have the same letter combinations, so if there was more than 1 number with just a, those would be combined, numbers with both a and b (ab) would be combined
so in the equation giving you have 12ab and 3ab that have both letters so those would be the 2 terms to combine.

 the answer is B
