How do you think the sneak attack by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor which killed nearly 3,000 Americans impact the general public’s view of the dropping of the atomic bomb on japan to end the war?
I think that, at that time, most people viewed it as a way to avenge those lost at Pearl Harbor. I'm sure there were some that didn't agree with dropping bombs on Japan, but they were not in the majority.
