Move Earth, the Moon, and the flashlight so that they are in the positions for a full moon. Let all three objects sit on the flat surface. Make sure the star on Earth that represents your location is facing the Moon. Look at the surfaces of the Moon and Earth that are facing the flashlight. What do you observe? What type of eclipse are you modeling?
