Spontaneous action potentials were measured from differentiated induced pluripotent stem cells derived from patients with IEM (Inherited Erythromelalgia) and from control (non-IEM) individuals. Shown below are results from two experiments, A1/B1 and A2/B2. In experiment 1, APs were also triggered by a 1-second injection of current. In experiment 2, recordings are shown before and after addition of a NaV1.7 inhibitor (PF-050).
