Consider a situation in your personal life where you are or might be facing a decision situation (e.g., buying a car, choosing a graduate program of study, seeking a job or a career, moving to another city or state, etc.). Define at least two potentially conflicting objectives (criteria) that could be used to make the decision and state the quantitative measures (metrics) by which you will use to measure them. Next, identify at least three alternatives (choices) to choose from and describe the process by which you would determine the value of each objective for each criterion (you do not necessarily need to identify the values). Then, select one of the methods covered in the chapter to solve your multiple criteria decision making problem and describe the pros and cons of the method and your approach.
