Patient arrived at the ER at 3:00 am Tuesday morning due to his shortness of
breath. A
detailed history and exam were completed with an MDM of low
complexity. Patient was admitted into observation with a diagnosis of COPD
with exacerbation. Breathing treatments worked and he was discharged at
6:30 that
evening.
