Roosevelt was labeled a "trust buster" for breaking up some of the large, corrupt monopolies during his presidency; however, it is more accurate to call him a "trust regulator" because:
a. He placed many punishing regulations against large corporations which stripped away their power.
b. He attempted a socialist take over of the United States through the creation of a sweeping progressive reform program.
c. Roosevelt understood the importance of big business, he just wanted to make sure that they weren't abusing their power.
