The use of RNAi
(RNA interference) technology is useful to behavioral scientists because it
a. identifies the possibility that differences in behavior is caused by epigenetic changes
b. identifies that differences in behavior are caused by mutations which create different alleles in the population
c. can confirm the importance of a particular gene product (e.g. protein or enzyme) in certain behaviors if the behavior is affected by the interference of mRNA.
d. can confirm that behavior is only controlled by genetic mechanisms which involves DNA and RNA
