The supervisor should remember that he must often convince many people besides himself that a proposed alteration (change) will be beneficial and worth the effort expended on it. He does this by first by:
A. getting his own facts straight and then by presenting them logically and clearly
B. identifying the potential reasons why subordinates might resist the change.
C. understanding the need for change - the problem to be solved.
D. determining whether, in fact, the proposed change is needed.
