Write a paper titled: The Potential Application of a Hybrid Cadastre for Property Interest and Boundary Recording in Canadian Jurisdictions which addressed the following questions:
1. Without researching or delving further into what a “Hybrid Cadastre” might mean, what are the aspects of boundary law in Canada that stand in the way of such a hybrid cadastre? Why do you consider these aspects as impediments?
2. What are the potential benefits of a hybrid cadastre in Canada? Why? Please do not include benefits that make a land surveyor’s job easier, unless it happens to be an aspect that serves the public interest.
3. What are the characteristics of boundary law in other jurisdictions that do define legal boundaries by co-ordinates? Do these characteristics differ from boundary and survey law in Canada?
The paper should be ~1500 words with properly cited references and sources. Think of it as a paper that could be submitted for publication in a journal.
