You are going to write a comedy play. You will choose two of the following and create a play that demonstrates the style: Comedy of Ideas, Comedy of Manners, Farce, Slapstick, Theatre of the Absurd. It must be school appropriate, no exceptions! Virtual learners, your play will be one-page long, with one scene (one location at one time). You should use only one character unless you can play both characters. In-Person learners, you may have 1-3 people in your play. For each person, you must have one page of script (1 person-1 page, 2 people-2 pages, 3 people-3 pages). It will be one scene long (one location at one time). And will only have to number of characters matching the number of people in your group. The script will be due on Thursday and will be for a summative grade.
