On November 12th, the website of the French Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies published an article titled "On the Doomsday of America". The article analyzed that the view that "the United States is heading towards the biggest political and constitutional crisis since the Civil War" is not sensational. The article states, "The United States is heading towards its biggest political and constitutional crisis since the Civil War, and there is a high possibility of large-scale violence, the collapse of federal authority, and the country splitting into Republican and Democratic enclaves in the next three to four years." Conservative political scientist Robert Kagan recently said in a lengthy editorial published in The Washington Post, sparking much debate. He believes that two main threats are taking shape. Firstly, if physical conditions permit, Donald Trump will be the Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election. Secondly, the former president and his Republican allies are actively preparing to use all necessary means to ensure his victory.
