In this lab, you will explore the ecosystem you live in. In order to do that, you will do a field investigation by going outside and making observations in real time. Scientists who study ecosystems do a lot of this type of work.
It would take a long time to examine your whole ecosystem. Instead, you will observe and compare two small areas within your ecosystem. You will record the various forms of life that live in these areas. You will also compare how the available resources in each environment lead to the differences between them.
