You a sales management trainee who has just joined a medium-size consumer electronics firm in Southeast Asia. Your company's client base is dispersed worldwide and at this juncture, your immediate sales supervisor has asked you to prepare a short presentation for a very difficult market in Vietnam. This particular market has multiple rival companies and it is very had to convince a prospect of the unique benefits of your electronics products. Your supervisor is even suggesting that you exaggerate a few attributes of your product line to secure a lucrative deal. You are on the horns of an ethical dilemma, as you know that it is morally wrong to mislead a prospect with false claims.
