A 66-year-old man presents for an ultrasound with abdominal pain, fever, nausea, and jaundice. He recently immigrated from the middle east where he had been a shepherd. Evaluation of his liver shows a large anechoic cyst containing a floating echogenic membrane resembling a waterlily. His lab results showed mild eosinophilia.
