The worst pet would be an octopus you couldn't make contact with it. Half the time you wouldn't be able to see it, and it is also hard to keep as a pet. Since it is a water-based animal you would need a very big tank of water. Octopuses eat slugs and snails, so you would have to keep some in your pantry. That's just gross? Some octopuses are excellent escape artists. You wouldn't want a rogue octopus in your house, would you? An octopus would be the worst pet.
