Emilia, Cole, Jasper, Owen, and Maddy all plan to meet in front of the Chidsey Market at 11 a. M. They will each be coming from a different direction. Except for Maddy, they each will go directly to the market.
Emilia lives 2 ½ miles from the market. She can walk one mile in 20 minutes.
Cole will ride his bike. He lives twice as far from the market as Emilia. He rides at 10 mph.
Though Jasper lives 1-mile closer to the market than Emilia he must walk up a hill carrying a baseball bag, so he walks at a rate of about 2 mph.
Owen also rides his bike, but it will take him 1 ½ time as long to get to the market as Cole.
Maddy will ride her bike the 10 miles from her home. She Rides 5 mph faster than Cole but plans to stop at the Libary on the way after 15 minutes.
