I need advice!

Okay y’all so I have a dilemma. I’m currently a sophomore in high school, and I’m trying to plan my schedule for Junior & Senior year. I’m looking to attend a top university, and I ultimately want to study something in STEM (still undecided exactly what, but I’m thinking computer science or engineering). I have 2 schedule options that I’m currently toying with.

Option #1:
Math ~ I take Pre-calc junior year, then AP Calc senior year

Science ~ I take honors physics junior year, then AP Physics senior year (my school requires an introductory class before taking APs)

I want to go into STEM, and I know that Calculus & Physics are integral part of the field (ESPECIALLY engineering). Colleges may frown upon me if I don’t take these courses when I have the option to do so!However, I would be taking less AP classes due to the required introductory courses, which may not look as good to top colleges.

Option #2:
Math ~ I take AP Stats junior year, AP Comp Sci senior year (AP Comp Sci is the only AP that doesn’t require an introductory class)

Science ~ I take AP Chem junior year (I’m taking honors chem this year), AP Environmental senior year (I took honors earth science my freshman year)

By taking these classes, I would have more AP’s on my transcript, which may look good to colleges. Also, I’ve heard that AP Stats & AP Environmental are supposedly “easier” than other AP’s. However, I’m not sure if they would frown upon me for not taking physics & calc. But chem & stats are also important for STEM majors too! So I’m just very conflicted.

Tysm !
