2. As the earth developed its atmosphere, the rocks that formed at the same time, changed with it. Those rock layers represented what the atmosphere was like.
a. Use the notes from class and determine what type of atmosphere will be involved in the formation of ONE of the following: Limestone Layers, Banded-Iron Formations, and Red Beds
b. Make sure to list which layer you are describing.
c. Make sure to explain how you know what the atmosphere was like based on how those rocks form.
d. Describe how the atmosphere during this time is different than the atmosphere we have today.
