The formula for the length of an arc of a circle with an angle a (in degrees) is Arlength(a)=2piR(a/360) where R is the radius of the circle. In this case we have that R=8cm and that a=135. Thus, replacing the values in the formula, we get that the arclength is A=2(pi)(8)(135/360)=6pi
