Finally, explain in 3-5 sentences the TONE and MOOD of your poem. Remember, TONE is the author’s attitude toward the subject of the poem. MOOD is the feeling that the poem creates for those reading it. As you explain TONE and MOOD, be sure to include specific words and phrases from your poem that prove your TONE and MOOD.
