Discuss the road to the American Revolution. Provide the British dilemma and their solution to this problem. Continue with the colonists' responses. Include such terms as salutary neglect, Stamp Act, Sons of Liberty, Quartering Act, Boston Massacre, Tea Act, Boston Tea Party, and Intolerable Acts. This is not a "vocabulary exercise." Therefore, you are not being asked to merely define the terms but also to demonstrate their connection. (i.e., You should be able to both define and explain how the Sons of Liberty were responding to the Stamp Act, how the Quartering Act led to the Boston Massacre, etc.)
